    • EPS / KOROYD IMPACT LINER – The rigidity of the EPS frame holds the lightweight Koroyd impact protection plates ensuring superior impact performance while enhancing cooling properties
    • CARBON FIBER SHELL – A lightweight and high-performance material offering strength and durability in various applications
    • ROTATABLE BAYONET RECIEVERS – Unique design to be interchangeable while allowing up to 45 degrees per side of adjustment without modifying helmet shell
    • FIT SYSTEM DIAL KNOB – Quick adjustment for tightening or loosening nape
    • FLOW VENTS – Exhaust ports allows cool air in and push hot air out
    • MAGNETIC CHINSTRAP – Allows the clasp to be conveniently open and closed with one hand operation
    • SINGLE PIVOT VISOR – The only MIL-Std approved visor while rated at 600 KEAS
    • FIT SYSTEM – Cradles the neck when tightening to keep helmet rolling forward and eliminates the need of combat edge bladder
    • AIRFLOW COMFORT LINER – Our premium two-piece Airmesh Comfort liner is designed to promote airflow circulation and cooling while remaining customizable to the user with three different thicknesses to optimize fit. Made from DriFire, a fire-resistant composite, this moisture wicking liner draws sweat away from the wearers head and is entirely replaceable.
    • KOROYD IMPACT LINER – Koroyd brings remarkable benefits to the AV2.2 Helmet. Its innovative technology consists of welded tubes that crumple upon impact, efficiently absorbing maximum force while minimizing energy transferred to the wearer’s head. This superior impact protection enhances safety and reduces the risk of head injuries, ensuring optimal performance during critical missions.
      • PROTECTION NEVER FELT SO LIGHT – Koroyd features the world’s thinnest walled tubes, resulting in a structure which is 95% air. This reduces weight and enhances comfort without compromising safety.
      • ADVANCED BREATHABILITY & COOLING – Air flows consistently through the open cells, whilst hot air from your head can easily escape, ensuring more efficient cooling in the most intense conditions.
    • DIRECT AND ANGLED IMPACT PROTECTION – Koroyd’s unique behavior helps to protect your skull and brain from direct and angled impacts which may reduce the risk of suffering a life-changing injury.

    F.A.Q

How do I determine my size?

Ensure that you record the circumference of your head with a tailor’s tape. Compare your measurement with our size chart and select size accordingly! (You would rather have this be sized slightly too big than too small, if you question your choice contact our team for more info)

How to properly put on and take off the AV 2.1 for flight usage.

Different from the process of putting on other legacy helmets on the market, the AV2.1 must be put on from the back of the head as opposed to over the top of the head. The Dial Knob should be pulled outward before putting the helmet on and taking it off

How is the AV2.1 supposed to fit?

The AV2.1 sits slightly further back on the head compared to other styles of aviation helmets to provide a maximized field of view. Fitment should be snug with a good ear seal on the cups and little to no movement when gently rocking your head.

Is the fitment of the AV2.1 adjustable?

In order to fit a wide range of head sizes, the AV2.1 is adjustable. Adjustments can be made in the earcup spacing with the insertion of spacer pads and the cups themselves can be maneuvered within the cup cavity to better suit your comfort needs. You can also change the Comfort Liner thickness by interchanging it with the additional liner included with your purchase.  (additional thicknesses and sizes are available for purchase through LIFT AV)

Finally, be sure to engage the fit system dial knob on the back of the helmet aiding in fit security and forward rolling of the helmet that can be experienced during flight. To size and engage: pop the knob out upon dawning of the helmet, push the dial in when the helmet is on, and tighten fit system to cradle the nape area of the head.

Why does it feel tight on the top of my head but not around my head?

Consider using the thinner liner included with your helmet order. If the issue still occurs you can mix and match all liner sizes for the best fit possible. Ensure the helmet is seated properly and not pushed forward on the head.

Why is the nape strap not touching my head when I tighten it?

If the system fails to reach the nape area, do not continue to tighten the dial. You may need to purchase the one-inch-thick memory foam pad to help ensure a comfortable fit. You can also adjust the position of this Nape Fit system by releasing the screws on the mounting portion of the Nape retention strap. There are 3 total resting positions for this pad.

How is sizing affected by the communication options i select?

Lightspeed cups are slightly larger than those of the Bose A20s. If you are close to being a size larger with Lightspeed cups selected, you may want to consider choosing the larger size.

    Are the Bayonet Receivers Adjustable?

You can adjust the Bayonet Receivers by hand. Locate the cover on the external area of the shell where they are mounted and turn the knob until adjustment level is met.

How do I safely remove and replace the Base Lense Ratchet Latch system?

Removal and replacement of the base visor system is possible with our proprietary installation tool available to purchase. Please contact a team member for more information.

How does the Magnetic Dual Visor System operate? (On/Off)

The Magnetic Dual Visor System top lens is easily removable and replaceable. Place your fingers on the tab and gently lift the visor away from the magnetic system. Putting on the new top lens should begin at one end of the system and as you lay the lens down, the magnets should put it in place.

How do I use the magnetic chin strap?

Our magnetic chin strap is designed to be easy to use both in putting it on and taking it off. Simply hover the lower clasp over the top clasp and the system should lock in place. To remove the helmet, place your thumb on the bottom of the clasp, a finger on the top, and pinch together.
